Here you will soon be able to download all PDFs for project e-ma including test materials for those wishing to facilitate workshops.
Remember project e-ma* is not a 'free for all' which people can just pick up and use at their will; it is instead, a robust academic process undergirded by strict constructs and protocols. Be they pedagogical, ethical or related to Japanese cultural, historical and spiritual, these very strict facilitation guidelines are in place to ensure the integrity, authenticity, and accuracy of the project. Furthermore they assert the author's legal and intellectual property rights of the process.
In light of the above, those individuals who wish to facilitate project e-ma workshops or be associated with project e-ma, must attend training, observe our workshops, and finally sit a test to become accredited. This is to ensure professionalism, and integrity which it is hoped, will ultimately contribute to the longevity and sustainability of the project and the research. As Dewey (1938: 52) says "The rules are a part of the game. They are not outside of it. No rules, then no game; different rules, then a different game."
